Having healthy skin is a vital part of having healthy feet. Our skin is designed to protect our body from harm, but when our skin is not adequately cared for, it can be unable to protect us and can become very painful or even develop into an infection.  People who are elderly, have diabetes, arthritis or other chronic health conditions are especially at risk of this occurring.  In these cases, it is very beneficial to see a Podiatrist every 6-10 weeks for regular treatments.

  • Corns
  • Calluses
  • Plantar warts
  • Cracked heels
  • Athletes foot (tinea)
  • Blisters
  • Wounds
  • Ulcers (pressure sores)
  • Foot odour
  • Dry skin
  • Itchy skin, particularly between the toes

Most of the treatments we use are pain free, however if you do have a particularly painful lesion, we are able to use local anaesthetic to numb the area.  This will help us to treat the painful area and keep you comfortable while doing so.

If you are experiencing an uncomfortable foot-related skin condition and would like the help of one of our Podiatrists to resolve it, give us a call on 9894 2463 or book online to make an appointment.
