ISSUES WITH CHILDREN'S FEET

Children's feet are different to adults' feet.  The bones in young children's feet are still very soft and are, therefore, more easily affected by abnormal pressure and forces.  It is important to nurture our children's feet as a lot of the issues we see in adults stem from issues commencing as children.  The earlier a child is assessed and diagnosed, the easier it is to treat and manage the issue.  Our Podiatrists will be able to advise you whether your children’s development falls within acceptable limits for their age, or if treatment may be required.

Our Podiatrists can perform a gait analysis of your child's biomechanics while walking or, if they are a little older, while walking or running on the treadmill.  Using our video recording software, we are able to break down your child's gait into specific segments and analyse their gait to inform us as to how we can provide the best solution for your child.

If you believe that your child could benefit from an assessment from one of our Podiatrists, give us a call on 9894 2463 or book online to make an appointment.
